Pensacola, Florida - This year's 16th Annual Barktoberfest is set for saturday, October 28 in Seville Square and promises to be one of the best ever.  The food options will be great as 11 food trucks are signed up, along with over 100 vendors.  The contest area will again be a crowd favorite as the best costume, owner pet look-a-like, best kisser and best trick will be awarded.  You won't want to miss the agility displays or the special entertainment.

Bob Tyler Toyota is this year's new presenting sponsor.  Last year's presenting sponsor Johnstone Supply is again participating at this level, but allowed the dealership to fill the top spot.  The big winners are the homeless dogs and cats in the region that the Pensacola Humane Society serves.

New this year is the Most Adorable Pet Contest.  Voting is going on now at The winning dog and cat will receive pet food for a year.  They also will be honored as the featured pet during the Pensacola Humane Society's 75th Anniversiary which starts in February 2018 . The top six dogs and cats will also be recognized at the closing ceremony.  Fountain Park, renamed Bob Tyler Toyota Country for Barktoberfest, will feature additional seating this year.

We at the Pensacola Humane Society hope that you will be able to join us.
